Metal braces are one of the most reliable and affordable ways to straighten your teeth, and at ODL Dental Clinic you’re treated by a multi-award-winning team with thousands of completed orthodontic cases.
Patients like Diana Vickers choose us because every stage of treatment is handled by the expert best suited for that phase — ensuring safe, predictable and efficient results.
Starting from £999, metal braces use small brackets and a custom archwire to move your teeth quickly and effectively. They’re strong, fast, and can be customised with a wide choice of ligature colours.
With ODL’s team-based approach and proven expertise, your smile is in trusted hands.
Your journey begins with a comprehensive orthodontic assessment by our experienced, multi-award-winning team. We review your teeth, bite, and suitability for braces, providing personalised recommendations. The appointment is £59, payable on booking.
Before treatment, a dental check-up and hygiene session are required — done with your dentist or with us (£59 exam / £79 hygiene).
Once you’re dentally fit, we’ll place your braces using modern, comfortable stainless-steel components and precise techniques. Whether you need one arch or both, our clinicians ensure accurate placement for long-term results.
Prices: £999 for one arch / £1,349 for both.
Pay upfront or spread payments over four monthly direct debits.
Your braces will need regular adjustments to keep your teeth moving safely and steadily. Each visit includes a review by our clinicians, fine-tuning your wires, and ensuring your progress stays on track. These appointments are £96, payable monthly.
Throughout treatment, you must continue routine dental check-ups and hygiene sessions to maintain healthy gums and prevent issues that could slow down your progress.
Treatment time varies depending on complexity, with mild cases taking around 12 months, moderate cases 12–18 months, and complex cases approximately 24 months or longer.
When your smile is ready, we remove your braces with care. The removal visit is £96, and we take digital impressions the same day for your Vivera retainers, ready in a week.
Vivera:
£360 for 1 pair
£450 for 2 pairs (plus one additional pair for free)
Optional fixed retainers: £299 per arch.
Wearing retainers as instructed is essential to prevent shifting.
The retention phase keeps your new smile exactly where it should be. You must continue wearing your retainers long-term and attend periodic retainer check-ups so we can ensure everything stays stable. These appointments are charged at our standard consultation fee.
Consistent retention is the key to protecting your investment and enjoying your beautifully aligned smile for years to come.
